I see myself as a creative person. It's important to be creative, in your own
way, I think.
This site is a portfolio of all the creative things I've put
together over the years.
As a kid I was often fascinated by all the hiphop graffiti
I saw around the early 90's. The oldschool
era of graffiti was (and still is) very fascinating to me.
I've taken a lot of inspiration from it in the creation of my
fonts.
I started making fonts in 1998, when I discovered The Font
Creator Program by High-Logic (www.high-logic.com).
On this site you can find 16 decorative fonts I've created in
various styles. Many of these fonts have now been used commercially
in various ways (see here for examples).
Music is also important to me. I've been writing and producing
music for quite some time now, mostly in the genres of hiphop,
trance and ambient.
The equipment I´ve used for producing the music on this
site is a computer and some programs named Reason,
FL Studio
and Audition.
I think my favourite kind of music is moody and melancholic
pop/rock and ambient, with beautiful harmonies to it.
If I should name some bands/artists that inspires me, then it
would be: Kraftwerk, Air, Boards of Canada, Kent, Antiloop,
Prodigy, Radiohead, RJD2, RZA among many others.
