About Vengence after and during a coup

About vengence:

In the begining of a struggle several forms of vengence is having positive side-effects on the society as a whole. When someone is murdering a batterer it makes batters think twice and when the workers destroys their machines, steal from work or hurt their bosses it hurts capitalism.

Vengence can be inspiring but also make people scared when they see how society takes its revenge on the one who took her revenge on it.

The vengence of groups or individuals can push a struggle towards its goal.

On the other hand an act of vengence is shaped out of personal needs and an emotional choice of strategies and goals rather than a well tought out strategy to reach a goal that will benefit the collective. Vengence can in other words mean a bad choice of strategies, small result out of loads of work

It is also harder to organize a huge collective around a personal goal of vengence. Especially if it will not change society as a whole.

Vengence after the devolution and as a result of what was before:

There are werry few reasons to strive for vengeance after equality. The only reason i could think of is what Frantz Fanon points towards, that an oppressed group will not become sane until they have the blood of the oppressors on their hands.

If the oppressors are backing of and thus setting people free then the people would probably not feel the same need for vengeance tough. It is hard to know if it could create a catharsis on its own since no group that has been given(rather than taking it back) freedom has got to keep it for werry long. The slaves in America showed no urge for or(as far as i know) need for vengence after being given back their freedom(which was always rightfully theirs, so it was not a gift, but rather a loot given back).

It did not take long until the lynchings by K.K.K. began tough. Also the former slaves where put in the bottom of the hierarchy of workers, many newer got to leave the plantations even. Therefore even black people that had gotten over slavery for some reason would have a lot of new anger to build up in their new slave-class and as victims of the lynchings of their former slave master(and in some cases the masters that they where still having). Even in unorganised situations of vengence from the african americans towards their opressors, for example the riot and looting that happend during the 60ies inAmerica, it is still posible to see(as Martin Luther King pointed out) that they are classwars rather than racewars. Poor whites where spared and rich blacks where robbed(according to the situationists). In one case a group of rioters ran past a white person to beat up a black policeman(according to the situationists). An angry mob can in other words be a whole lot more selective than it is portrayed.

Vengence after the devolution

One of the main reasons that exploitve rulers(patriarchical opressors, fat cats and capitalists for example) fear to loose power to those that they opress is vengence. Some people are even uncomfortable in getting fatter each second on the suffering of others but when they have to pick between that and becoming a part of the exploited group or keep their wealth they choose the wealth and personal safety. In the same way males are afraid to give the tiniest bit of power to women since they are afraid that that women as an oppressed and exploited class will take revenge on males as an exploitive and oppressive class. The suffragettes where called malehaters because they demanded their right to vote and an end to trafficking. There is often a language with obvious connections to a paranoid vision of women castrating men when males writes about women who aim critics against men as a class. Such fear of vengeance from oppressors is a mixture of the world of fantasies as well as real history. Many revolutions has been followed by acts of vengeance against the oppressors (as well as violence against the real revolutionaries by the new “revolutionary” bureaucracy). In France it was the quiljotine, in china the workers used to have people that ran around with bamboosticks in the factories and beat the capitalists over their back when they became lazy since the Chinese capitalists used to have hired thugs in the factory that did the same against the workers before the revolution.

Not only the vengeance is related to the pre-coup actions of the oppressor but also if he will even survive the coup.

If the oppressor freely chooses to give back his wealth, power and means of production to the community then he will have a much bigger chance to be spared any revenge and accepted as a member of the new society. One example is the king in Vietnam that was captured by the FNL. He was told that he was no longer a king and was welcomed to become an equal with the rest of the society. He started to cry since he was sure that they would sentence him to death(as he would if he had for example got his hands on Ho Chi Ming). Instead he lived(as far as I know) a good life as a peasant from that day.

The oppressed are not to be blamed for the level of the struggle. It is the oppressor that controls that through his use of force and unwillingness to be equal. The oppressed can only choose to be defeated, punished and kept in chains or intensify the struggle to the degree that the oppressor chooses before he(the oppressor) throws in the blanket. If the oppressor is ready to fight to the death for inequality then he will die. He has himself to blame and the oppressed should not feel any guilt for what he forces them to do against him. The same goes for anyone with some power over their own situation that are loyal enough to kill for their master until they are themselves killed(like General Custer) in exchange for luxury and conformity.

Such vengence is not constructive on a broader scale but it might mean a lot for the emotional wellbeing for those who get a chance for payback.

Revenge can go out of hand and be either extreme or unfiar. The opressed are not the ones to blame for that tough.

If an opressor and exploiter does not want to be the "victim" of extreme revenge then he should think about what he does before the coup. Even extreme oppressors like pimps, porn-companies and wall mart owners can at least have a chance of softening the blow after the coup by giving away all of their wealth to armed women brigades (or in the case of capitalists give away back the wealth and the factories to the workers that created the same wealth for him before).

The sooner he does it and the smaller the preasure is on him to do it the lighter will any act of revenge bee.

The sad thing tough is that exploiters generaly belive that the only thing that could make them safe from harm is more power and more money. The only way to get that is to be more exploitive. That makes the exploited even more enraged and makes the chance of some vengeance after oppressor has been overthrown even bigger. The only thing that could really protect the exploiters is Jesus.
But Jesus (as a person and ideology) is dead. Therefore nothing can protect the oppressors.

This myopic and apathetic attitute is here to stay...Until someting happens. Excuse the cliche; From acorns do mighty oaks grow. It will happen and I want to be right there when it does. If it doesn't happen in my lifetime, I will educate and hope that their future is brighter

I gave a copy of "Figthing for our lives"to a girl from an upper class home. She didnt read it that much but her father did. He said that it was horrible that some people had the freedom to speech.

A poster about abolishing work (that was originaly done as an A3-painting) with the Crimethincadress on the bottom can be found under Download/Posters/Wor
kVsLife.

Print it out, copy it and put it up everywhere you can. Other strategies for turning people on and keeping this page alive should also be puted into practice.

Glad to hear from you. I hope that it all work out for you. It sounds like a lot of bull to me. You can read Focouallt if you want to. He talks about how the definition of insinaty is a question of power i.e. the psychiatrist can decide that a person is insance while the patient can not decide that that the psychiatrist is insane. Many psychiatrist are certain by the way that there is no such thing as a sane person. Freud pointed out that those things that was called sexually perverse is something that exists to some degrees in all persons, i dont now for sure but he had most likely an idea like that about insanity also.

I agree with you.. this has realy been a good site. This page is absolutly the least quantitative and most qualitative experience of people on the net that i ever haved.

I love all of you guys too.

Hey guys. I just wanted to say I missed you all. You know, I recently spoke to a therapist about my thoughts and she's convinced I'm a raging psycho. This time I'm being polite and obedient. I refuse only medication. But I'm pretty confident that I can show them my beliefs/ideas aren't devoid of reason. Partly in thanks to radical internet sources like this one. Catch ya later.
